Calling up the menu item "Callsign" opens an input window. If you enter a call sign there and press "ENTER" or the "Search" button, the map positions itself accordingly. Under certain circumstances, the positioning is first roughly and then more precisely after web access. (see program options)
Additional information about the callsign and DXCC is displayed in an additional window. If HAM Atlas was activated via the menu item "Options-Page general" Connected to the Callbook CD (International Callbook from DARC-Verlag), the program also shows additional information on the callsign. If images of the callsign are found in the HAM Atlas database or (if connected to HAM Office in the folders there), these will also be displayed in the additional window. These can be enlarged with a click of the mouse.
There are two tabs directly above the map. While the first tab shows the map, the second tab can be used to obtain further information and map displays from the Internet about the callsign. The program options can be used to set which websites HAM Office should access.
